Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
A dry northeast monsoon is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Locally, the relative humidity over most parts of the territory fell to about 50 per cent in the afternoon.
Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow
Becoming cloudy. The minimum temperature tomorrow morning will be about 18 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 22 degrees. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground at first tomorrow.
Outlook : Sunny periods on Friday and over the weekend, warm during the day. Mainly cloudy early next week.

General Situation:
A fresh to strong northeast monsoon will affect the coast of Guangdong on the third day of Lunar New Year. It will remain relatively cool in the morning over the region. With the monsoon moderating, it will be warm during the day over Guangdong on Friday and over the weekend. A relatively humid easterly airstream is expected to affect the coast of southern China early next week. It will be cloudier over the region.
